Scott Kozak

Chief Executive Officer

With more than 30 years of experience spanning pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, and life sciences, Scott has co-founded multiple companies, raised over $50 million in non-dilutive and venture funding, and guided early-stage ventures from concept through commercialization, licensing, and strategic partnerships.

He serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Yale Ventures and the UConn Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, where he has advised, mentored, and taught the next generation of life sciences innovators. His career has spanned roles with major pharmaceutical companies, start-ups, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, giving him a uniquely broad perspective on opportunity assessment, intellectual property strategy, R&D planning, and go-to-market execution.

At JORA, Scott leads the company's strategy to bring AI-driven immune profiling to clinical practice—making precision dermatology a reality for patients and physicians alike.

William DamskyMD, PhD

Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pathology, Yale School of Medicine

Dr. Damsky is a practicing dermatologist and dermatopathologist with specialized expertise in inflammatory skin disease, translational research, clinical trials, and the development of personalized medicine approaches. His research focuses on understanding the immunologic and molecular mechanisms underlying inflammatory skin disorders and translating these discoveries into improved diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

As an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Damsky leads translational research efforts that bridge fundamental immunology and clinical medicine. His work has contributed to advancing precision medicine approaches for patients with immune-mediated skin diseases.

At JORA, Dr. Damsky guides the company’s scientific vision, research strategy, and biomarker discovery initiatives, helping translate cutting-edge scientific discoveries into clinically meaningful innovations.

Jeffrey CohenMD, MPH

Associate Professor of Dermatology and Biomedical Informatics and Data Science, Yale School of Medicine

Dr. Cohen is a nationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and management of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases. He serves as Associate Professor of Dermatology and Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at Yale School of Medicine and is Director of the Psoriasis Treatment Program, where he combines clinical care, translational research, and epidemiologic investigation to improve patient outcomes.

His work focuses on advancing the understanding, treatment, and long-term management of chronic inflammatory skin disorders through evidence-based medicine and clinical innovation. He has contributed extensively to research aimed at improving therapeutic decision-making and personalized approaches to dermatologic care.

At JORA, Dr. Cohen leads the company’s clinical development strategy, ensuring that emerging technologies are aligned with patient needs, physician workflows, and real-world clinical implementation.

Yiwei WangPhD

Chief Data Officer

Dr. Wang is a computational biologist and precision medicine innovator whose work bridges artificial intelligence, multi-omics analytics, and clinical translation. She has extensive experience developing machine learning models, biomarker discovery pipelines, and data-driven approaches for inflammatory skin diseases.

Her work focuses on integrating molecular, imaging, and clinical datasets to improve disease diagnosis, patient stratification, and treatment selection. She has led the development of AI-enabled platforms that transform complex biological data into actionable insights for physicians and researchers, advancing the implementation of personalized medicine in dermatology.

At JORA, Dr. Wang oversees the company’s data and AI strategy, guiding the development of next-generation computational tools that connect scientific discovery with clinical decision-making and patient care.
